Find Healing After an Abortion
I feel your pain and I know what you're going through...
When I was just 16 years old, I did the unthinkable and I had an abortion. I did not want to do this, I was pressured into this decision, but in the end, it was still my choice. (You can read my testimony here.)
Abortion not only kills babies, but it also harms the mother for the rest of her life. Depression and feelings of shame, guilt and suicide are very normal. I know this firsthand, I almost took my life.

But I am here to tell you that there is HOPE and there is healing after having an abortion!
No matter what we’ve done in our past, God will forgive us if we humbly ask Him to. If you’ve gone through an abortion and you need help and healing, please start by joining me in this prayer today.
Dear Heavenly Father,
I humbly come before You today to ask for Your forgiveness. You know what I did to my baby. I
know how much this hurt Your heart and this hurt me, too.
Jesus, please forgive me for taking the life of my baby. I confess it was a sin to take my child's life. I know I don’t deserve Your forgiveness, but You are a righteous and loving Father. Your Word says that when we confess our sins, You are faithful and just and You forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Your word also says that You will bury our sins in the deepest part of the ocean, and never remember them again.
So Lord, please forgive me now and help me to forgive myself and the people who were involved. I forgive the Doctor who performed by abortion, I forgive _____________( my boyfriend, parent, husband who wanted me to do this) , and I forgive myself. I want to have a clean heart before You now.
Thank you, Jesus, for setting me free and for hearing my prayer today.
I ask all of this in Your Holy Name.

There was much joy at the end of my retreat with my new sisters in Christ as we celebrated holding our"babies" on our final day.
And I do not want to minimize the power of the Word of God, so I encourage you to read these scriptures as well, out loud and to memorize them and believe what God is saying to you.

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace. Ephesians 1:7
Psalm 32:1
Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, Whose sin is covered
But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by His wounds we are healed. (Isaiah 53:5)
